We are currently completely out of treats for our parcels (which is normally sweets or chocolate around 100g) as well as cat and dog food. We have only a couple of weeks of long life juice, meat, uht milk, jam, biscuits, tinned fruit, tinned soup, tinned rice pudding, cereal, tinned toms. We’d also like to offer advent calenders to children during the last weeks of November and expect to need 75 to do that.
We are very short of the following non food items: Nappies size 4+, 5 and 7, womens deodorant, washing up liquid, bleach, laundy liquid/pods/powder in smaller packs, tampons, mens razors.
As well as these items for normal parcels we are also preparing for supporting families with extra christmas items, we normally put the following in our christmas bags: Christmas Pudding. custard, christmas style cakes (traditional, stollen,mr kipling style, panettone etc), mince pies, christmas biscuits, crisps or savoury snacks, cranberry/apple sauce, stuffing, gravy, hot chocolate, pop or sparkling fruit juice, selection boxes for children in the family. We are likely to see at least 50 households in the last week before christmas.
