End of Year figures for 2024-2025

21st May 2025

In the past financial year, we have provided food to 3,211 people, including 1,272 children. While this is an 11% decrease compared to last year, it still marks a remarkable 54% increase in the number of people we’ve supported compared to just five years ago.

We have also provided food for 2260 people through our extended support project that provides low cost food for those who need our support over a longer period.

Our work doesn’t stop at providing food. Through our partnership with Citizens Advice, we’ve been able to assist 206 individuals with a total of 1,916 issues. Together, we’ve helped people improve their financial situations by £411,000, manage debts of £86,000, and have £26,000 worth of debt written off.

The food we provide is more than just a meal – it’s the foundation for building relationships with those in need, enabling us to offer further support and guidance through our in-house worker. This holistic approach helps individuals and families take important steps towards a better future.

But we can’t do this alone. We need your help to continue offering this vital support to families in our community.

We are currently in need of the following items:

  • Long-life juice
  • Tinned fruit
  • Tinned meat
  • Tinned soup
  • Coffee
  • Cereal
  • Instant mash
  • Rice
  • Tinned fish
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Biscuits
  • Tinned tomatoes

If you are able to donate any of these items, we would be incredibly grateful. Alternatively, you can make a financial donation via our People’s Fundraising Page to help us purchase what we need.

Together, we can continue to provide hope, support, and practical help to local families in need.

Thank you for your generosity! 💙
